24-Year-Old Charged With DWI After Southeast Stop, Sheriff Says

A 24-year-old man from Connecticut has been charged with DWI after he was pulled over on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast, according to the Putnam Sheriff.

Officers with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department say they initiated a traffic stop after observing a driver commit a violation on Danbury Road in the town of Southeast on Monday, Sept. 16 around 12:25 a.m.

Further investigation revealed that the driver, identified as David Krukowski, 24, of New Preston, Connecticut, was allegedly intoxicated, according to the Sheriff.

Krukowski was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated (operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .18 or more), a misdemeanor, and driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
